The designer who masterminded the interior of Sebastian Construction Group’s Dallas headquarters recently took home an award from the Texas chapter of the American Society of Interior Design (ASID) for the project.
Interior design firm, M. Barnes & Co., led by owner and principal designer Marci Barnes, won a Legacy of Design award in the Commercial: Corporate category, recognizing the finest interior design achievements within the Texas Chapter.
The M. Barnes & Co. website shares a peek into what makes Marci’s work special:
“…style and personality are everything. Her projects always maintain a sense of humor and are comfortably tailored for the people who will inhabit them. Staying curious and open minded, always searching for the perfect blend of simplicity and function in each design dilemma is the driving force of her creativity.”
(You might have noticed M. Barnes & Co.’s design flair on another Sebastian-built project, the Athens Farm residence, featured on the cover of Luxe Magazine. The project was subsequently rated one of the publication’s ten most popular features across its entire national portfolio.)
As a company that values great design in the projects we build, we know that it’s an important factor in the well-being of our team members.
